NotLimited approaches every project with a flexible development plan that we custom tailor to meet the unique requirements of each client. As legacy and emerging media technologies evolve, we offer consistency and reliability by fully documenting the design process and centralizing all of our communications through a single online source. Our commitment to transparency empowers our clients to be completely involved (and to control their level of involvement) in their NotLimited projects from their inception, while eliminating inconsistencies and misunderstandings throughout the design process. Discovery

Ongoing research of our clients' peers, consituents and markets is built into every NotLimited project cycle. The information we gather about our clients and their audiences during this initial phase becomes the basis for every recommendation we make throughout their projects.

Definition

Once client identity, position, direction and project purpose have been assessed, we define the project outline, content, architecture and milestones. This project "blueprint" keeps everyone focused on meeting our clients' and their audiences' specific needs.

Design

After we've defined the project and reviewed content, the design phase begins with visual explorations. Wireframes, PDFs or flat comps are refined in a three-round process that ensures each communication project delivers its message within the client's aesthetic.

Production

During the production phase, our clients are kept apprised of NotLimited's in-house milestones as they're reached, including testing, proofing and post-processing results. Scheduled client reviews and ongoing consulting continue through project completion.

bridging the gap

NotLimited works digitally. Though we happily travel for meetings, photoshoots, conferences and workshops, we've never met most of our clients face-to-face. Our online status reports and project paths allow NotLimited staff and clients 24-hour access to all project assets, timelines, data and communications. Our scheduled telephone meetings and conference calls clarify direction and ensure uninterrupted workflow for all. Most important of all, along with reducing everyone's carbon footprints and budgets, our digital process makes for a better work/life balance for staff and clients across time zones. stopping the buck

Every NotLimited project is led by a single point person with whom the client partners. S/he is the project's lead designer, is responsible for all deliverables and communications throughout its cycle and is the conduit between client and vendors, developers or host. Because of the clarity this partnership approach brings to our projects, we prefer to work with one or two focused decision-makers on the client's end, too. This process prevents scope-creep and allows us to bring NotLimited projects in on time and within budget. [ what we do ]
