comes included with an IBM 3 Year Depot Repair Option. A courier will pick up your ThinkPad and deliver it to an IBM depot repair center. Our objective is to repair it within 12 hours of arrival. Machines arriving at the depot in the morning are scheduled to be repaired and shipped back to you on the same day.
To arrange a Depot Repair Service Delivery call 1-800-772-2227 for service. IBM will provide assistance for remote problem determination and provide resolution over the phone when possible. If repair is required you can arrange a door-to-door delivery to an IBM Depot Repair Center.
Depot Repair Service is available for three years from date of your ThinkPad purchase.

- 1 day to ship to depot repair center
- Product typically scheduled for repair within 12 hours of arrival at depot
- 1 day to ship back to customer
- Additional day if customer requires packing material for shipment
